CLASSROOM PROGRAMS

If you thought the morning was amazing, our award-winning classroom presentations are a core part of our full day program. Designed and build off the excitement and enthusiasm from the morning stage production. Our STEM based curriculum incorporates cooperative learning and problem-solving activities, in contrast to the morning program, the afternoons give your students the skill set and tools to learn from their own shared experiences. With the younger grade levels participating in guided discovery, storytelling and team learning activities. The higher grade levels have the opportunity to participate in cooperative learning and problem-solving activities that encouraged them to explore leadership, biodiversity, question the world and information around them and to use that information to better the environment they live in. Most all the activities in our afternoon sessions are proprietary to our program.
While some of the animals are a part of the afternoon programs our focus is to explore how students can empower themselves to make change and interact with THIER environment.
Some of the activities offered during the afternoon sessions include:
-
Rainforest pipe game
-
Carrying capacity relay
-
Pollution run
-
Skin the snake
-
Power of two
-
The rainforest story
-
Worlds is a knot
-
The balance
-
And more
Following the group learning experience we have several animals in each session with us. These are animals the students will have an opportunity to have a closer look at. We always end each session with a short question and answer period. Our staff take pride in classroom management and making sure the session is truly impactful and meaningful. We hope upon our departure we have opened a door for your teaching staff to walk in and continue with their learning and discovery.
